1. Spending time with people who are the same as you
We generally like spending time with people who are exactly like us, who speak like us, who have the same liking, who belong to the same city, who are from the same organization, and so on. The more we spend time with such people, who have the same perspective just like us, we will not learn anything new.
2. Not having a student mindset
Having a student mindset is the best way to build a wealthy mindset. The more time you spend on learning, the more you will be able to make money. One of the best sources of learning is books and connecting with people.
3. No focus on getting more details
The majority of people acquire knowledge or learn to the surface. Once they have that much knowledge, they begin to implement. Surprisingly, a handful of knowledge is insufficient to take any action. The more you get into the details the more clarity you have about that thing. Getting more details should be your nature even if you have the best of expertise available to you.
4. Vision that do not scare you
Not having a vision that could have inspired you to take such extreme steps towards fulfillment and accomplishment, will stop you from getting rich. Here, scare doesn't mean to horrify you, but rather to keep the spirit alive inside you so that you constantly aim to move further and further. Having a big vision will make you brave.
5. Less tolerance for ambiguity
A wealthy mindset should have a high tolerance for ambiguity. Nothing is planned in this world. Whatever we thought to do might not work as desired. Rather you might experience the things which you must not have imagined. It is important to handle those attributes because it helps us to realize that there is nothing in this world that we can control. The only thing that we can control is our reactions.
6. No feeling for destiny
Most of the people have no feeling for destiny. If you have read about famous personalities and authors, you can get to know that most of them had an intuition or feelings about their destiny that they would accomplish something in their life. Each and every one of us must possess a feeling for destiny. I do not mean you should have overconfidence but rather a belief or a sense of accomplishment.
7. Not having an ego
Having an ego does not mean a negative thing. We can say that ego means when you know who you are. When you have a certain identity you treat it sacredly. You believe that your identity has a strong structure and also defines your existence. People with having wealthy set, consider their identity very seriously.
8. No mastery over your passion
People are able to master their skills but not their passion. Skills can be acquired but you cannot acquire the passion. For a wealthy mindset, you should have a passion that keeps on encouraging you to take one step ahead toward fulfilling your dreams.
9. You are not able to take the risk
Every individual with a wealthy mindset understands that the risk cannot be eliminated from our lives. In short, you cannot make the risk 0. The only way is to understand and manage the risk. Proper understanding of the risk is the only way to manage it. This turns out to be the process and the way of life.
10. Not having first-principle thinking
First principle thinking means when you fundamentally break a specific thing to arrive at its Foundation and then from there you begin to create it. Consider an example of a smartphone manufacturer, who has no idea about the components of the smartphone. The only thing that will be helpful in this case is to open up the smartphone and find out what type of parts are being utilized. This is where he can fundamentally break the smartphone to find out all the necessary parts.
